Mumbai : The Financial Capital of India, In Water

Recently I received so many images from my friends from all over world, regarding flood in Mumbai. So I thought I will put them at one place and can share with you all. Thats why I am creating this page.

The rain has created lot of pain and chaos, but even though whole Mumbai was trying to keep his head up in the water, still you could find lot of Mumbaikars just got their heads down and umbrellas up and kept going, with a remarkable amount of power and good spirit. This is what I like about Mumbai and Mumbaikars. The spirit to fight against all odds. They are capable to cope with any situation. Let it be tightly packed local train, or a 8 X 8 room (kholi) for whole family or underworld. They survive and introduced themselves as I am from "Bombay". The world "Bombay" has lot of weight.

The flood has come and gone, damage done is in millions. But the damage which is going to happen in coming days in the form of rise in price, pollution, decease and the most important thing transportation, is not going to be less. Lets hope administration take necessary care to make the situation better, and does not leaves his people to suffer
